Random

I found this on my FB page, I filled it out about 9 months ago. Enjoy the post, it's just a little something fun.
25 Random Facts About Me.

1. I can't watch horror movies, movies like Traitor or Blood Diamond, or even the nightly news. Ever since Landon was born, they give me nightmares.

2. My TOP 5 List:
1. Zac Efron
2. Chase Crawford
3.Ryan Reynolds
4.Patrick Dempsy
5. Matthew McConaughey

3. I've watched 3 Mel Gibson movies this week; Braveheart, What Woman Want, and Mad Max. (I don't see what the fuss is about Mad Max and why they made two more to follow.)

4. I have no memories of Guam, only pictures of my birthplace.

5. I am going to have to learn how to drive on the left side of the road in 6 months. And this kind of scares me, so I want to get a beach cruiser bike instead of a car when we move to Australia. Sunshine, exercise, no gas money, no pollution and a cute little basket? Yup, sounds way better than a car to me!

6. My lucky number is three... I am the 3rd of 3 Fulwider children, born Feb. 3rd 198-3.

7. I miss my best friend Carina. She is one of the only people that pretty much every time we get together we laugh till we cry. She makes my heart laugh. I can say anything I want/need to say around her, and I know that she doesn't judge me- only loves me for who I am.

8. When I was pregnant I used to cry during Johnson and Johnson commercials. Especially the one with the catch phrase was, "Who knew the love of you life would be short, bald and fat." It was video of a mom bathing her baby boy in the sink. ...got me every time.

9. I used to drink 3-6 Diet Cokes, and/or 1-2 Tall non-fat, no whip Mochas... a day! I needed them to function, taking care of a baby by yourself is hard enough- and then add being a full time student into the mix. There were days I needed a caffeine drip! Now, you are looking at a girl who drinks Caffeine Free Teas and never any coffee. Sure, I had huge withdrawal migraines for about two weeks, but it's been over a year since I've have any soda and coffee (or relatives to coffee). Yay me!

10. If I don't write things down, I forget to do them. There is painter's tape and a Sharpie in my car for when I am driving and I remember something I need to do. I write it on the tape and stick it to my steering wheel (Derek's side is the dash) and when it's complete, I take it off the steering wheel. You should see my car during finals week.

11. When I was in the hospital with contractions (in the labor process- can't remember all the stages right now) Brandon (one of my big brothers) came in with the video camera and pretended to be Steve Erwin. He spoke in an Australian accent and proceeded to say I was a "shella" about to give birth along with some other things... because of that there is footage of me giving my brother the finger on Landon's birth tape. ...And Brandon was told to leave the room. lol. Looking back it's pretty hysterical, but I didn't find it very funny at the time.

12. I loved high school. Some of the best years of my life. There are random moments when I'm in the car by myself and I'll remember a joke and find myself in a really happy place.
ie:"Oh I, I just died in your arms tonight. It must have been something you saaaaaaaaaaiiiid."

13. This flows with number 12. In high school the guys (Ryan, R2, James, Frankie, and Patrick) and I tried to drink a gallon of milk in an hour. I went with skim and the boys went with whole milk... I think Frankie even drank whole chocolate milk. R2 was the first one to go, and then the rest of them. I ran inside, I was not going to throw up. I think I was the only one that didn't... no one finished their milk and when I went to school Monday morning my parents had circles of dead grass where they they had all thrown up. Hey, at least we weren't all drinking alcohol.

14. First time I drank with my family (Mom, Dad and brothers) was in Texas for my Ryan's Winging. I was 19 or 20. My Mom said I could have one drink. I had a drink... and the boys kept filling it up. The end of the night the three Fulwider kids were the only ones on the dance floor huddled in a circle talking about how much we loved each other. (Ali had a sailors mouth that night...)

15. The two best sounds in the world are of Landon's and Derek's laughter (even better when combined). And here is the thing about Derek's laugh, it's so quiet- it's more like a different way of breathing for him- so when you get a good "Ha" out of him it makes my heart smile. Every now and then with a good tickle a good chuckle will come out in a sentence.

16. Darren I a peer pressured Derek into stealing a chocolate cake from one of Darren's friend's parties. They weren't going to eat it- trust me.

17. I was scuba certified when I was 12.

18. If Landon would have been a girl I would have named him Hayley Mae Fulwider. I wanted him to have the same initials as me. Thank goodness he's a boy and his name is a little less country... Landon Travis. lol. Really he was named after my brothers. Brandon... Landon (close enough...) and Travis is Ryan's middle name. And they are Landon's God Parents... Ryan is the God Father and Brandon is the God Mother. lol.

19. Every two years I get so excited for our Italian family reunions. We are due for one this year! Hopefully all the "cousins" will get it together before we move to Australia in August.

20. Derek and I wish we had a peaceful alarm to wake up to in the morning. The blazing of this one does not make me want to get up and mediate, it makes me grumble. lol. I think we might want to invest in something different.

21. I love my Dad. Even at the age of 26, and after all we've been through I still call him "Daddy" and he still calls me "Little Girl".

22. I learned to cook by trying to get my Mom to eat healthier, and I totally love to do it... if I'm not exhausted.

23. My favorite thing in the world to receive is a hug. Not a lame hug, but a real, good h.u.g.

24. I think love letters and mixed tapes/cds are romantic.

25. I want to change the world and have fun doing it.
